Our Thoughts on Data Centers and Public Policy Using Renewable Energy Sources
The benefits of using Wind Turbines and Solar Panels to power Data Centers instead of fossil fuel based energy sources.

Building a data center without using a renewable energy source is a criminal act! Why?
Because there is no need to inflict more damage to the environment by using fossil fuels and natural resources to power a single business. Whereas renewable sources of energy like Wind Turbines and Solar Panels will reduce the noise that a data center produces by 100%. It will also save on using water because there will be enough energy generated to run servers, air conditioners, and refrigeration to the machinery. There will be no need to pollute the water in the neighborhoods with dumped residue from the computer processors generating massive amounts of heat.
Instead of inflicting this type of pain upon a community, Wind Turbines and Solar Panels will quietly generate the needed energy. When the wind generates too much electricity, the excess can be stored in Batteries made from the Cannabis plant for later use can be sold to municipal electric companies for distribution to neighborhoods and businesses. Cannabis based Hemp Batteries made from the male plant can hold massive amounts of energy and are much safer than lithium batteries.
Data Centers do not create many local jobs because programmers do not need to live near the facility. AI oversight roles are still needed to ensure the accuracy of the data stored there. You also need people to maintain the hardware like the file servers, network cabling, HVAC, and electrical work. Renewable energy will create diverse types of jobs and maintain the environment at the same time.
Organizations like the Michigan Cannabis Coalition are staunch supporters of using renewable energy. Investing in manufacturing batteries from the Hemp plant will create jobs and opportunities to improve the neighborhood’s quality of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Additionally, renewable energy must be codified into law for building permits before ANY construction for a facility is approved. Neighborhood residents do not need to be terrorized by tech companies ramming fossil fuel powered data canters down their throats causing higher electric charges, degraded water quality, and air quality degradation.
If we are to be great as a community, we must elect officials that will enact laws to protect our neighborhoods, farms, and environment. Therefore, people must participate in their government by voting in all elections to hire people that will commit to improving the quality of life in our communities.
